hey fam
i wrote you a nice long email this morning about a ton of great things. unfortanately your son is not that bright and i exited out of it before i sent it. so i lost everything. that sucks pretty dang bad.
well i sent yall a letter on monday so you might get it today or tomorrow so be looking for it.
i met this new elder in my zone. he is from reno he went to reno high school. his name is elder cooke. i think he is going to mexico. he seems like a pretty cool kid.
i get my flight plans tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am pretty dang excited for that. its sneaking up. i am almost outta here.
well i keep asking how grandma great and grandmere are but i never recieve an answer. and i reallly want to know.
well i was privledged to be able to hear from elder hinckley (president Hincley's son) of the quorum of the 70 last night. it was so awesome. he is such a funny guy. thats what i love about the general authorities, they all have such a great sense of humor. but i learned a lot. he spoke about how to avoid the groundhog day rut. (the groundhog day rut is where you do the same thing every single day.) it was an amazing talk but the thing that stuck out the most to me is what his wife said. she talked about keeping a journal. she said or encouraged us to every night write in our journal an event during the day where we saw the Lords hand in our lives... i think that is just super special. and a great idea. so i will be doing that every night in my journal from now on.
oh my lanta, two nights ago my comps and i took our bunk beds apart and rearrranged the room and we made room for the beds to to single beds, i guess how you would say that. well we dont have bunk beds anymore. anyway some elders in my district came over to our room and upon seeing that they ran over to thier room to do it. when they took off the top bed to one of them they decided to put it on top of the other two. it was hilarious. we made the tower of babel in the room. it is so tall that it barely fit. there is about a 10 in. space between the ceiling and the mattress. well the heaviest elder in our district wanted to sleep there. omg it was so funny. he had to just squeeze himself up on the bed. now this kid doesnt like to shower and what not. he is just the kid that is always the smelly one. so it was just hilarious cuz it must have been so hot up there and i am sure that he was sweating the whole night. it was just super dooper funny.
and we have just been pulling pranks on a ton of peeps of the floor. so we are having a good time.
well i gotta go. i cant wait to talk to yall in a week and a half.
love you. thanks for the prayers. oh i put lindy's name on the prayer list today.
