Elder Heims: He got WET

hello there family.

while i have now been here in villa posse for a full week. and well..... its different. very very different. it is going o be very tough here because of the members. they arent very helpful.... and there arent very many active members in the ward. well i dont want to be a downer but i will just say that this will be very very very very very very rough. i was extremely spoiled in ituzaingo.

well it is very poor here. the richest part is even poorer than the poorest part in ituzaingo. everything is just very different. and our apartment as well.

well my zone is pretty cool. so i am looking forward to working with them.

well we have a baptism this weekend. yayyy. so we are starting to plan for that.

well i have a miracle that i would like to share with yall...... well this friday, 3 days ago, we got a call from our zone leaders saying that my comp has to go to a meeting in Ramos Mejia and that i will have a new comp for the day in this area. ohhhh no, i dont know the area, like at all..... shux. so we left the pension at 7 in the morning and we went and picked up my new comp. his name is elder cude from california. he arrived here in this country on tuesday night. so i was thinking to myself.......... ya this is going to be so much fun. i love working wih greenies. i just love it. so at 1030 it was time to leave the pension and start working. so we went out just worrying a little because we had some important app. and we knew that we were going to get lost. but we did ok. i got us to our first app. then we went to our second appointment. it was this lady that we had taught a couple days before. so she came out and told us that she was busy and asked us if we could come back another day and then walked inside her house. then out came here 15 year old son. so i started talking to him. then we started teaching him. the spirit was very strong as we testified of joseph smith and Jesus Christ. then he stopped us and told us that he had been praying for a little while for guidance from the Lord. and we happened to pass by at the right time. it was amazing. chills ran down my spine when he told me that. i felt like a million dollars. to be the answer to someones prayer. it was absolutly the best experience that i have had in the mission so far. we passed by the next day and he was waiting for us. said that he read and prayed. and then he came to church yesterday. he is just amazing. he understands everything perfectly. he was just waiting for us. now i KNOW that they Lord is preparing many people to hear his gospel and he is guiding us to them.

well i am glad to hear that the blessing went well. how is grandmere doing? how is everyone doing, jenny?

well i love you all miss you like crazy.
