well there family. i just want to say how much i love all of you. i was very touched by each email that i recieved today. i am so blessed to have the family that i do. i thank my Father in Heaven every single day for my family. thank you so much for all of your fervent prayers, your uplifting emails and for the examples that you are.
well we have some great news. my comp is a convert and his dad is not a member. so two weeks ago in the email to his family he wrote his dad and challenged him to recieve the discussions. last week his mom wrote back and said that his dad is going to start taking the lessons. and his dad wrote back today and told elder vilches that he is recieving the missionaries, is starting to read the scriptures, and has already stopped drinking, and is going to start going to church sin faltar (i dont remember how to say that in english, sorry) and he is doing this so that he can be closer to his son and his family. so we are very excited.
holy cow the costumes were just so cute. batman and robin, the little monkey, and welll...... the thing 1 scared me a little but its all good.hahaha. well macy it sounds like an awesome thing that your are going to be doing. the missionary week. no facebook......wow thats just cruel.....hahaha. well macy i invite you as well to share your testimony with someone this week as well. nonmember or not. everyone needs to hear someones elses testimony.
well i wanted to say thank you to grandmere and the meidell family for their wonderful letters. it really goes a long way. i am really going to try to write them back. but as of now i am a few letters behind. so i am going to try. we dont have a lot of time to write letters.
well as for my camera. i was looking at the prices here and they are about 700-800 pesos for a digital camera. and that would be a wonderful christmas present gift. and as for the facewash, dont worry about it, i have stopped using it. but if you can send me some diet pills or some jenny craig or something that would be awesome. jk well i really dont know what i what for christmas. maybe a shortsleeve white shirt. NO SWEATERS ya tengo demasiado.
oh just so you know. i have changed my diet. i am now a chef. i make pancakes, french toast, omlets, brownies from scratch. its pretty fun. i actually like cooking now.

We enjoy your updates and think of you often. We always keep you in our prayers that you will find the families that have been prepared to hear what you have to say. We can see that you have been blessed with the language...it is beautiful. The ladies really love that so hang on to it when you get back. We took your challenge and both Devon and I bore our testimonies today. Devon wants to be a missionary, too. Thanks for your example!
