Miracles

well it was pretty good. my comp is pretty cool. he is very very very smart. granted he is 24 and was working as the stake secretary for 2 years. well he has studied the scriptures pretty dang well. we are learning a lot together. well a little bit about him, his name is Fredy Hernandez from bogota columbia. he is enganged. he has a similar story to that of elder claiter (my comp in the mtc) but with a slight twist. he was getting ready to get sealed to his girlfriend when 15 days before the big date the stake president called them in and told them the he felt that fredy needed to serve a mish. so he is here. hahaha. well he got baptized with his mom and his sisters when he was 9. he has 3 sisters and 0 brothers(sounds familiar?) but his older sister was murdered when he was 11. he is a cool kid. a little stubborn and a know it all. but he is a pretty cool kid. we get along pretty good.

well this week was pretty cool. it was really hot but then on friday it rained and it got really cold. so that is pretty cool. summer is finally ending.

as well this week was pretty good. we have been teaching a guy for quite some time now. he is a really good guy, is reading the book of mormon, knows its true, and everything but he has a store and could never come to church. so we stopped passing by for him because he could never progress. and well this week we were fasting for some other investigators. and we saw him in his business and so we decided to talk to him. we got to talking about japan and the signs of the second coming. and we got talking about covenants. and how the people of the Lord is a people of covenants. and how only the people who make covenants with God are going to be saved. Jesus was the perfect example. even He being perfect had to make a covenant with His Father or He would not have been saved. and this guy felt there Spirit so strong that he started to cry and he said," i know this is true. i am coming on sunday to church. i promise" and he came. well one reason that God gives us signs is so that we become humble and repent. we saw a great miracle this week. it was an amazing moment. i know that the power of a fast is very great. i saw that this week.

so that was pretty legit. well we are working with a family who wnats to be baptized. but the problems just keep occurring. somebody in the family got sick on saturday so the whole family went to got be with their aunt. and they got back sunday at night. so they coulndt come to church. so that kinda sucked. but they will be baptized in the next few months.

well i hope everyone is still doing good.

hey has anybody looked to see if i will get into utah state. i dont even know if i will get in. i had a 3.2 and i didnt take the act. so i dont know if i will get in.
