Letter from 03/08/2010

SORRY, POSTING THIS ONE A LITTLE LATE.


hola famila,
how art all of you? ok well i dont have time really at all. we had a meeting today with all the trainers and their kids with president about just stupid stuff, like the correct way to do a contact and what not. it was just because there are some trainers that are just no good so it was just for them and their kids pretty much. but it took up the whole entire day. so i have about 25 min. to write YALL this week. but today i got to see everyone that was in my district at the mtc. that was well worht it. i love those kids. i missed them a ton.

well another good week for us here in ituzaingó. have yall done any research on that city yet? well its pretty good. Well we had 4 peeps at church on sunday. so that means that they are progressing. so that is really good. we have 3 baptisms for the 27th of march. i hope they stick. we teach a lot. we taught 54 lessons this week. we are just working hard.

well a little bit about the food again. i have had milanesa 6 of the last 7 lunches. yes mom, the members provide us every day with a lunch. we are in a really good ward. it is rare that we dont have a lunch. it has not happened since i have been here. anyway, thank goodness i like milanesa. we also get all of our clothes washed by the members. and this is all for free. like i said i have a really good ward.

i have taught 2 full lessons all by my self this week. yayyyyyy..... so i can at least do that.

well nothing really exciting happened this week. but yesterday something pretty cool happened. yesterday we were walking around cuz all of our appointments fodged us and it was really hot, we were just sweating our stuff off, and we contacted this lady on the street, taught her on the street lesson one and she was cyring several times during our lesson. so the spirit testified the truthfulness of something to her. she changed, we felt good knowing that, that is exactly where we were supposed to be at that time. ohhhhh how i love being a missionary.

like i said. the weather has been really hot here. but we should be going into winter soon, i am excited for that.

i promise i will give you my scripture on thursday. yes thursday. ill tell you more about that later.
oh also dont send me anything. i wrote down in my agenda the adress that you should send stuff, but i left the agenda in my pension. so dont send anything yet.

also. on tuesday last week i got a dear elder from jenny. i think she wrote it in december. cuz she was talking about what she did wwith winter after they dropped me off. and she was saying that she was going to go to lubbock in january and to winters in feb. so i think she wrote in then. but i just recieved it last week. i dont want her to think that i fodged her by not writing her back. i just recieved it.

well i am having such a great time herrrrrr. argentina is a great place. it has a lot of problems with cleanliness. both with chastity and with the streets and what not. but i love it here.

ok so winter, my comp. well he is from kaynesville utah, or however you spell it. he is a really really really hard worker. he is a district leader. he is a funny guy. there isnt ever a dull moment. he is very knowledgable about the gospel. he loves to debate gospel topics. especially with the testigos de Jehová. which i am not a big fan of. but he is just a really good guy. well i have taken pix. but i dont like to carry it around or i will be robbed. but i have taken pix. i will bring my memory card next week and email a bunch to yall.
good to hear about chance and what he wants to do. that sounds great. i am happy for him.


mom, that is great to hear about lance. so great. i hope he follows through with that.
that is so sad about lindy. i feel for her so much. that has to be so tough.ughhhh.
